Lali from Portal Bookshop contacted me to design a logo for “Over The Rainbow”, a café opening above Portal Bookshop in York. Initially, the concept was a rainbow arcing over a coffee cup, however in an attempt to create something more modern and striking, we pivoted to a design of the rainbow arcing into coffee cup, akin to the Pot of Gold at the End of the Rainbow.
